Today, we took the Enchanted Circle loop trip NE of Taos, with the route roughly circling Wheeler Peak, New Mexico's highest mountain at 13,141 feet. We started off driving north of Taos to Questa, cutting east up the Red River Valley, with several campgrounds on the right side and a large Chevron mining operation on the left side. After circling though the town of Eagle Nest, we headed back west through Angel Fire ski area and the nearby Vietnam Veteran's National Memorial pictured here. There is a nice visitor center, as well. The afternoon found us headed to Albuquerque and our camp for the week. Monday and Tuesday will be work days - and then the NANPA Summit starts.
